Although Ploom uses real tobacco, the device heats the stick to the perfect temperature without burning it. Because no combustion occurs, fewer harmful chemicals are released. This offers the potential to reduce the risks associated with smoking, while also producing no smoke or tar from burning.
It depends. Each country has different laws and regulations when it comes to heated tobacco, so it's a good idea to check in advance.
You can ask the embassy for the country you'll be travelling to before you take your Ploom abroad. It's also a good idea to check and see if sticks for Ploom are available for purchase in your destination so you know whether you'll need to bring extra refill packs with you. Finally, if you charge Ploom with a wall adaptor, check to see if it's compatible with your destination. Charging via USB cable can be done anywhere in the world.
At the end of a session, your EVO stick will be hot, so let it cool sufficiently before throwing it in the bin. For ease and peace of mind with letting your sticks cool down, we recommend using a Ploom stick tray.
